This collection includes oil paintings. Most of them are from my South Carolina Lowcountry Series, which deals with the Gullah Culture.
This collection contains encaustic paintings. Encaustics, from the Greek word, enkaustikos, means to heat or to burn. It is a painting medium made from melted beeswax, damar resin (for durablility and luminosity) and pigment (for color).
